I know that boys names are being repurposed for girls at the moment but John?

Rare to have girls names repurposed for boys (and there is a reason for that) no one is ever going to call their boy Rachel or Larissa are they really?

Diminutives can be common to names for boys/girls like Charlie for Charlotte or Charles, or Bobbie for Roberta/Roberta I'd pick the right sex long name for the BC personally. It's nice to have the choice.

Kit is usually short for Christopher or Catherine (or I suppose Christine etc)

Bobby/Bobbie (Robert/Roberta)
Ollie (Oliver/Olivia)
Charlie/Charley/Charli (Charles/Charlotte)
Winnie (Winston/Winnifred)

These are all nicknames though.

Taylor! (Taylor swift’s mum gave her a bisexual name so that if she was a business executive being a woman wouldn’t hold her back and her name could be interpreted as a man’s name, iyswim?). Anyway, she has done rather well for herself!

I know a female Kit. Everyone things she says her name is Kate. And then occasionally ask if she's sure. It drives her crazy. She still thinks it's a cool name, but one that's caused way more hassle than you would imagine.
