Names for twin girls

What does everyone think of Chloe and Nina for twin girls? Already have a Matthew.

Name changed to avoid this being linked to my other identifying posts!

I meant to say that mine are short and simple, and OP is welcome to them, as I won't use them. They are a bit 'matchy' though.

There are 15 years between my two, yet we Chloes of both their ages and every one between! I find it quite boring, and much prefer Cleo.

Love Nina, though.

Chloe and Nina are great names.

As a fellow twin Mum can I recommend that Twin 1 is Nina and Twin 2 is Chloe.

This give you the option of sometimes listing them in alphabetical order and sometimes in chronological order (and everyone having a turn at being first!)

These little things can be important to twins!

Thank you. Quite varied opinions!

As much as I love Phoebe, we prefer to stick to names with 'simpler' spellings as we have foreign family and the 'ph' and 'oe' sounds seem a little much. Will have a think about the others! Would rather avoid names starting with the same initials...

I love Nina. Personally prefer Nancy to Phoebe or Chloe but probably too matchy with Nina!

I love both names but not together.

I prefer Chloe and Phoebe. Totally different names but still sound good together.

Love them.

Chloe is my all time favourite girls name, and if it wasn't so popular here in Australia (top 10 for the last 15 years), I would've used it for DD1.

Nina is fabulous too.

Chloe and Phoebe sounds much better and they're both from the Ancient Greek.

I think they're both just too random and do t really go together... I think you could find two better names that are very different but still fit together better...

But that's just me! If you love them... Go for it!!!

I don't know any Chloe and I know a lot of under 3s... I know a Phoebe and a Nina who are both adorable.

Not sure about Carrie or Carly as they sound like abbreviations (sorry).

Quite like Nancy!

I don't like Chloe. I thought it was nice until they seemed to be everywhere and usually called Chlo.
Clio/Cleo is pretty.
I like Nina.

Thank you. Yes, we have been told the same too.

We also like Phoebe but I prefer them not to end with the same sound (Chloe and Phoebe). And we've tried to choose two which both can't be abbreviated, or that might be a sticking point when they get older.

They go perfectly well together without being matchy and also go nicely with your DS name.

Personally I like Nina a lot better than Chloe and I'd have Nina and Carly or Carrie (in terms of like sounding names to Chloe) instead.
