Which of these is best?

Please help! We’re due our baby boy in 4 weeks and DH and I cannot agree on a name... below is a list of some I like, some he likes...

Otto
Elliot
Christian (Kit for short)
Gabriel
Lawrence

Which is your favourite (if any) and are there any names that are similar we’re over looking?!

spider good point about Gabe, I hadn’t heard of that Byrne fella, I don’t know how embarrassed I should be about that.

Gabriel (Gabe).
İ dont see any teasing potential. It's becoming very popular now and look at Gabriel Byrne. It certainly hasn't hindered him in anyway, has it, and. I'm forever seeing William suggested. Never have I heard anyone say. "Oh you can't use William people will call him Willy.

I like Elliot best, but don't mind Laurence (this spelling).

I much prefer Otis to Otto. Otto makes me think of garbage bins and the bus driver from the Simpsons.

big I like Henry Smile ... I’ll see what DH thinks of it... we know lots of Harrisons and Jacobs at the moment, to the point whenever DS sees a baby boy he calls them Jacob!

Mike You share my apprehension of the shortening of Gabriel, there’s nothing that works is there?!

I'm not mad about any of them. Elliot is probably the best one.

Otto - no
Elliot - ?
Christian (Kit for short) - Christopher is better. Christian is an adjective and the Krish-jun pronunciation is not nice.
Gabriel - no. Too long and will be shortened to Gay or Gabe
Lawrence - No.

I like Elliott the best but personally prefer it with 2 t’s
