My baby boy is due Monday and I literally have no names I like. I have read the entire 3000 long list of boys names given last year and don't like any of them. What am I going to do?
I have loads of girls names I love but nothing for a boy!
I want something normal but not popular.
husband is no help as only suggest 2 names. One I hate and one is ok but rhymes with my daughters name which is massively off putting. (Think Benny and Jenny).
What can I do to solve this problem? Will inspiration strike when he's born? It's stressing me out.

Which girls names do you like? Maybe we can find some similar male names.

A lot of parents find that a child's name sort of "becomes" them with time. So even if you settle for a name that is simply "alright" you may well come to love it because it's the name of your child.

Anyway, personally I would stop putting so much pressure on yourself for now. If you don't have a definitive name at the time of birth, it's not a huge deal, plenty of people don't.

Boys names are so boring, I had a real tough time naming my 5mo DS! In the end I just chose the name I least disliked and I kept coming back to it for whatever reason so I took it as a sign plus I've also never met someone with my DS name before I had him so I had no bad connotations with the name but it's quite a popular name in the top 20 however I've only met one other baby with the name so far. It's grown on me quite a lot and I think it really suits him.

I saw Samuel getting rave reviews on here not so long ago.

Sam is a cool name for a boy and also a man.
