Our little boy was born today via C Section. I think we have decided to go with Edward for his name. What middle name goes best?
Opinions please

Edward James
Edward Alan
Edward David

Lovely name choice op. Enjoy the newborn cuddles!

DuruttiColumnist · 17/01/2018 21:01

What a gorgeous boy! So envious OP!

Edward James Thanks

WalkingEverywhere · 17/01/2018 19:46

Edward James is a fantastic name. Congrats ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

MiraclesDoHappen82 · 17/01/2018 19:27

Thank you for everyone's comments. We have gone with Edward James as the surname is 4 syllables so we thought it flowed well.
We are both home now and settling in.
Thank you for all your kind comments

Oh my good god. What a beauty!

WalkingEverywhere · 17/01/2018 09:12

What a cutie. He has beautiful skin. My kids were not C-section and all looked a bit beaten up when they were born 😂

Any of those middle names are good. No one really uses their middle name so it doesn't matter. Have you tried googling his possible full name and seeing if anything turns up?

I'd maybe go for a more unusual middle name if you have a common surname.

What would his initials be?

Buntysoven · 17/01/2018 00:17

Beautiful baby. Congratulations!

MrsTiggyWinkle3 · 16/01/2018 13:00

Congrats!

Edward James, sounds lovely with the two syllables and then one.

thewanderer03 · 16/01/2018 13:00

Congratulations op!
Edward James

TheDailyMailIsADisgustingRag · 16/01/2018 12:58

Aw look at him!!! He’s so cute. He’s half smiling already.

Of your list, I’d go with Edward James, but since he looks like he might be smiling, (yes I know they can’t smile at that age - humour me), can I put in a cheeky bit for Edward Isaac? Isaac means something like “he who laughs”.

Congratulations Flowers.

I love Edward as a first name too btw.

Mugshotzforlunch · 16/01/2018 12:36

Awe he's perfection.
Edward James gets my vote.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 16/01/2018 12:35

mrsprefect · 16/01/2018 12:33

Another vote for James.

He's GORGEOUS 😃😃

n0ne · 16/01/2018 10:50

I actually like Edward Alan. I'm not a fan of Alan as a name usually but it goes lovely with Edward. I'm assuming it might be a family name too? Otherwise it's quite an unusual choice. Refreshingly so!

yourhavingagiraffee · 16/01/2018 09:47

Love Edward James.

He is absolutely beautiful.

GreatDuckCookery6211 · 16/01/2018 09:35

Aw he's beautiful!

Edward is lovely. I think James is the best out of your list. What about

Edward Christopher
Edward Hugo
Edward William
Edward Henry
Edward Jasper
Edward Felix
Edward Andrew
Edward Benjamin
Edward Charles
Edward George
Edward Laurence
Edward Magnus
Edward Peter

SwinginFromTheChandelier · 16/01/2018 09:28

Edward James hands down!

Obviously I don't know if your 3 suggestions have personal connections but I also like-

Edward Thomas
Edward William
Edward Alexander

However if you o like the styles of these names bear in mind for future siblings use!

Congratulations he's lovely 😊

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 16/01/2018 09:24

A perfect little peach, many congratulations OP. 💙💐
Edward James is lovely, but I rather like Edward Alan.

Afreshcuppateaplease · 16/01/2018 09:13

Edward James

user1459464195 · 16/01/2018 09:11

Aw, he's scrumptious, congratulations! Edward James does sound lovely. The only potential downside is that James is a VERY common middle name for boys - not sure if that bothers you or not.

Other suggestions:
Edward Matthew
Edward Lewis
Edward Oliver
Edward Lawrence
Edward Miles
Edward Joel

INeedNewShoes · 16/01/2018 08:49

Wow, a MN consensus!

VinnyTheVagina · 16/01/2018 02:32

Definitely James.
Congratulations!!
