Initials spell S.O.D....

Hello

We’ve fallen in love with the name Sophie Olivia but our Surname begins with a ‘D’.... is it too bad for her initials to spell SOD? It’s not something I would have ever noticed, but my OH did straight away... I also sort of like Isabella, but it also sounds funny with our surname... at least we are certain on a first name! Middle name is proving tricky 😬

You'd have to be insane to do that to her. Just swap the names round, you can still call her Sophie if that's your preference.

We use full initials for all staff at work, you/she will either need to 'own' it or you need put in another name.

How many times in life is she likely to use her full name. Most people really only use their first and surname, with the middle name rarely used

Either call her Olivia Sophie, or put another name in there.

I don't think it really matters. Normally when writing initials you'd just write the S and the D so its unlikely to be an issue.
