I have an Iris, a Beatrice and an Elspeth and need some help with potential DD4, (we have a boys name).

The list is currently:
Agatha
Verity
Tabitha
Cecelia
Cornelia.

Thoughts? Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

Faye is nice, and maybe Celia is better than Cecelia.

We know little Imogens, Winifreds and Florences so I will avoid. All good names though.

Florence?

SnapesTears · 13/01/2018 19:42

Oh yes, Josephine and Gretel too. :)

I like the suggestion of Winifred. My other DD’s middle name is Winifred. I chickened out of using it for her first name and wish I’d been braver as she has a really common/popular name.

we have the same taste in names! On my list was
Tabitha
Beatrice
Matilda
Agnes
Greta
Ada
Jemima

.... and our dd is Faye

I think Tabitha is my favourite but it seems quite marmite

NewSense · 13/01/2018 19:28

In my head when I read it I naturally finished it with "...and Lucile/ Lucie/ Lucy".

But you have some great names there, and lots of other great suggestions on this thread! I kinda want to name a girl now. Before I forget all these fabulous names!

Jemimapuddleduk · 13/01/2018 19:27

I love your girls names and you have very similar taste to me!
I like Cecelia best from your shortlist. How about Rosalind, Rosamund, Merryn, Sylvia, Estelle, Ethne or Stella.

TheVanguardSix · 13/01/2018 19:25

Agatha is wonderful.

I used to love Ophelia but it's just too too. It's a bit jolly hockey sticks. And besides, she's a tragic, tragic character. I am named after a tragic mythological character and I've never enjoyed the meaning of my name.

Aurelia is lovely.

BrendaSmith56 · 13/01/2018 19:21

Verity is lovely.

Vivienne
Stella
Jemima
Katya

SingingSeuss · 13/01/2018 19:20

Sylvie, Mathilda?

AnaWinter · 13/01/2018 19:20

Cecelia or

Cecile
Clarissa
Vivienne
Genevieve
Louisa

Merrylegs · 13/01/2018 19:19

Astrid

Littlechocola · 13/01/2018 19:18

I love Tabitha.

How about Clemency?

grasspigeons · 13/01/2018 19:17

I love Cecelia and Tabitha

I think Jennifer would fit for some reason or Genevieve

I'm strangely drawn to Winifred - can I talk you into that

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 13/01/2018 19:16

Iris, Beatrice, Elspeth and Marcia (Mar-cee-a)

FleagleBingoDrooperSnork · 13/01/2018 19:10

Maisie is the name I thought of when I read the lovely names you have given your three other gurus.

KeepCalm · 13/01/2018 19:09

Miriam
Vivienne
Suzannah
Meredith

I currently love Muiranne pn Mirren

Greensleeves · 13/01/2018 19:07

I think Violet goes well with your others

Somelikeitchilly · 13/01/2018 19:07

Got some names to add to the list. Funnily enough a lot of these made the long list, so people's suggestions are great.
Thanks all.
