Farley's rusks?

Also the name of a Rottweiler that bit me.

Not good.

Pickleshickles · 12/01/2018 19:25

I know a little Farley. First thought on hearing it was "rusk"

TroysMammy · 12/01/2018 19:25

The Two Ronnies characters Charlie Farley and Piggy Malone.

Shadow1986 · 12/01/2018 19:24

Thought if rusks straight away sorry

DustyMaiden · 12/01/2018 19:20

Yes it’s a hospice

backformore · 12/01/2018 19:16

Ok, then! Was thinking after the wood engraver, John Farleigh. But yes, it was his surname.

personally not a fan, but what about Harley?

viques · 12/01/2018 19:12

Psycho I was just going to say as long as your surname isn't Rusk ! Or indeed as long as there isn't a sibling called Harley, or Marley, or even Charlie.

dontbesillyhenry · 12/01/2018 19:12

Utterly ridiculous please don't

k2p2k2tog · 12/01/2018 19:11

Rusks.

And not a name.

MikeUniformMike · 12/01/2018 19:11

Awful sorry. Farley is better but makes me think of rusks or Charley Farley.

The -leigh ending would make people think it was a girl's name.
PsychoPumpkin · 12/01/2018 19:10

That’s a Rusk, is it not?

Cupcakegirl13 · 12/01/2018 19:10

It's a surname

Candyandpop · 12/01/2018 19:09

Pronounced in the same was as Farley biscuits?

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 12/01/2018 19:08

That really isn't a name...

ReggaetonLente · 12/01/2018 19:07

It's the name of our well loved local hospice.

If you're in Essex, or ever likely to be, I wouldn't because of that connotation.

LovingLola · 12/01/2018 19:07

Not a fan.
