Rusks. Sorry.

How about a kind of wood? Rowan, Ash...

Or John, if you want to name him after the wood engraver directly.

NatureWalk · 14/01/2018 14:57

I came on to say rusks!

FundayMorning · 14/01/2018 14:53

You say famous wood engraver, I hear rusks.

Tipsntoes · 14/01/2018 13:59

It's the name of a Hospice locally here. An amazing organisation but not sure I'd want to name a child after it.

BikeRunSki · 14/01/2018 13:43

Nice name for a house.

backformore · 14/01/2018 13:02

OK, got it, thanks! I'm not in the UK, so rusks aren't a thing here, but good to know, anyway!

Bejazzled · 14/01/2018 00:40

😂 rusks

Joeybee · 14/01/2018 00:37

Awful...just awful Sounds like a dogs name. Also I just think of Farley's rusks. Plus it sounds more a girls name to me than a boy. Maybe Finley/Finlay would be a nicer alternative.

user1485182339 · 13/01/2018 17:30

Please don't ! He'll be nicknamed "Fartleigh" by the end of fist day at school

chokes
That is the most unfortunate sentence I have read all day!

joystir59 · 13/01/2018 17:24

Sounds like famous brand of baby rusks

TheQueenOfWands · 13/01/2018 17:23

I live near a village called Farleigh.

Is that where he was conceived.

NotAgainYoda · 13/01/2018 17:21

John's a nice name

Tsundoku · 13/01/2018 12:17

I immediately thought ...Wallop, then had to google Farleigh Wallop in case I'd gone mad and made it up. (I hadn't: it's a place in Hampshire.)

XxMagpiexX · 13/01/2018 12:15

buttercup54321 · 12/01/2018 22:32

A lifetime of being mistaken for a rusk.

SwinginFromTheChandelier · 12/01/2018 19:51

Just No.... Rusks pop to mind!Grin

AuntieStella · 12/01/2018 19:50

Charley Farley and Piggy Malone....

Better than a rusk, I suppose

BunloafAndCrumpets · 12/01/2018 19:48

I used to live in a East Farleigh in Kent, least friendly place and pub I've ever encountered. So it's a no from me!

Julie991 · 12/01/2018 19:36

Please don't ! He'll be nicknamed "Fartleigh" by the end of fist day at school .
