DS is 1 week today and is still being called 'the baby'

Please help cut down our list

Bobby
Jett
Freddy (I want Teddy but Dp has said no)
Jesse
Harley
Buddy
Hugo
Gabriel

We dont need anymore but any similar suggestions?

Bobby - it's a baby name not a man's name
Jett - OK as Jet
Freddy (I want Teddy but Dp has said no) - No. Don't like it or Teddy
Jesse - No
Harley - No
Buddy - No
Hugo - Yes
Gabriel No. will be shortened to Gay.

Yes lots of Freddies round here too.
I think Gabriel is a fantastic name. Hugo I think of as being very posh. Is he a posh baby? Does he look like a Gabriel? Congrats!

I like Jesse, Harley, Hugo and Gabriel. Freddy is nice too but there are so many little Freddys in this area I find it a bit dull now.

Freddy or Hugo.

One of my nephew's is Hugo, they always get compliments on his name and he is the only one in his school.

Although pp said about meeting a dog called Hugo, I do have two friends with dogs called Hugo too. But I don't see it as any different to when people were calling their dogs Ben, in the time that Ben was a popular boys name.

Definitely Gabriel, by a mile.

Hugo is ok, as is Bobby if short for Robert. I quite like Jesse but may be hard to pull off. Freddy is dull. Really not keen on Buddy which sounds like a dog or an elf as mentioned, Harley or Jett.

Jesse was my favourite right until DP suggested Dexter which is what we finally decided on. DS is 12 weeks and we've had loads of compliments on his name. Still love Jesse though.
