Prefer Anna or Annabel. I like Mabel better than Annie, sorry

I'm not keen on Annie as a name in itself - though it's fine as a diminutive. I think Anne or Anna are better. I don't like Mabel at all, although it seems to be popular on here as quite a few people seem to ask about it.

Annie is a sweet little girl's nickname - can't you call her Annabelle or Anna and use Annie as an affectionate form/ nickname? Annie, Suzie, Livie, Lizzie... They are all ways of adapting names to show familiarity and affection, but not names strangers or people you don't like use...
