We have the following on our list but I can't seem to decide. What do you like best from it? If there others you can suggest based on what we like I'm happy to hear alternatives.

We don't want anything in the current top 40. We both appear to like quite traditional names, although we want to stay clear of anything currently very popular.

Felicity
Dorothy
Bridget
Verity
Meredith
Harriet
Edith
Claudia

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Meredith but may be claudia as a back up. Your baby may not look like one of these names.
My experience
Dc1 got a 3rd name from our list, was perfect from the start
Dc2 got a last name from our list, could not call him that and two weeks later he got the 1st name from our list that fit him perfectly and still does.
Dc3 got the 1st name on our list but we waited a whole week to decide that.
My advice is not to name children before they come out. It is good you got a very detailed list but don't commit until you her her :-) choose 3 names :-)
Congrats

Felicity is lovely, and it has a great meaning.

Dontbuymeroses · 07/01/2018 20:19

Felicity and Meredith

Smoliver · 07/01/2018 20:14

I like Felicity, Dorothy, Bridget and Verity. I know a couple of Felicity's and Verity's but I don't know any Bridget's or Dorothy's, so if you're looking for more unique names, those would be my choices.

n0ne · 07/01/2018 19:13

Fabulous list! Edith is my favourite but you can't go wrong with any of them

Daffydil · 07/01/2018 19:13

Felicity and Harriet would have been top of my list, but I had to rule them out for several reasons. I love them.

Bridget would be near the top of the list for mythical number 3.

Iwantaunicorn · 07/01/2018 19:12

Dorothy or Harriet for me!

cakeandteajustforme · 07/01/2018 19:08

Meredith or Harriet for me

buttercup54321 · 07/01/2018 18:28

Felicity and Claudia are my favourites from your list.

lifechangesforeverinjuly · 07/01/2018 18:25

Felicity - it's lovely name. It's on our list but our surname begins with F so we're not sure.

I like Dorothy too but just because thebucketlistfamily's daughter is called that and she is SO cute!

fieldfox · 07/01/2018 18:21

Verity Smile

Meeep · 07/01/2018 18:20

Dorothy for me!

slippermaiden · 07/01/2018 18:19

Bridget. The others are fine too, except Dorothy (makes me think of Kansas).

winterwonderlandy · 07/01/2018 18:19

Love Verity.

Hooleywhipper · 07/01/2018 18:14

Lovely list, none of them I don’t like. Congratulations

Coey2016 · 07/01/2018 18:13

Lovely list. My favourites are Claudia, Edith and Felicity. Good luck choosing.

Navegante · 07/01/2018 18:10

Claudia or Felicity are my favourite. I think Felicity and Harriet are rising in popularity names.

IggyAce · 07/01/2018 16:27

Personally I would void Harriet I know several Harriet's born recently so it's rising.
Meredith or Felicity get my vote.

daisypond · 07/01/2018 16:26

I like Claudia, Felicity and Verity the most. I particularly dislike Meredith and Harriet. Harriet is very dull. Not wild about Bridget either, but it's OK.

Lottbarn · 07/01/2018 16:22

We named our daughter Felicity in September... I pick Felicity!

userabcname · 07/01/2018 16:21

KarmaStar · 07/01/2018 16:15

ChocolateCrunch · 07/01/2018 16:12

I like Felicity and Harriet the best from your list. Also quite like Dorothy and Edith.

StellaTins · 07/01/2018 16:09

Claudia or Harriet (Hattie)

Do you like Hester? That would be my choice Wink

timeistight · 07/01/2018 16:06

Felicity is lovely, but Verity would be my choice.

Traditionally, Meredith is a boy's name and I can never get past that.
