Fintan of the three, though I prefer Finbar/Finbarr.

Apparently FIL was almost a Titus! Not sure what happened to that one since he ended up with something along the lines of John.

How about Tiberius nn Tiber, or maybe Tarquin.

I taught a Titus, when I was a teacher. Nobody mocked his name. He had siblings who also had Ancient Greek type names!

I like Titus as a name, but don't think it's usable due to teasing potental. Dislike Tudor because of Henry VIII. Fintan is nice. Better than the ubiquitous Finns and Finlays, anyway.

Fintan is the one that would be easiest to live with, but it is another Finn isn't it and there seem to be a lot of Finns around. (Probably won't make me popular but it makes me think of a naughty boy)
Titus would need a personality to carry it off but it's quite cool.
Tudor strikes me as being more of a surname than a first name. It is sometimes used as a first name in Wales, and the Welsh form, Tudur is also used. (Tudur is pronounced TID-irr, the irr sounding like the irr in the English word 'irregular')

I heard all three used this week (including Titus Salt on R4) and thought they were great names and worthy of MumsNet scrutiny. The nicknames for Titus are indeed unfortunate, which is a shame as its a great name.

Titus will lead to teasing because of "Tit". Tudor is a packet of crisps. Fintan is the best of the three but I'm still not a fan.

Something else. Anything but those three. They're totally dire. Never even heard of them being used as names. Wasn't Titus a Roman or something. So I suppose it was once.

I love Titus!

Not so bothered about Fintan because of the likelihood of becoming one of many Finns around, but I prefer it to Finlay. I love that it's both traditional and unusual, but just don't like the likely nickname.

Tudor, ok but not a fan.
