Ordinary names I've never seen suggested on MN

I don't think I've ever seen Nicola mentioned. There were lots in my generation. Maybe it will be back in 5-10 years when we start to become grannies.

My daughter has a name that s very Damian and doesn’t seem unusual really (not a retro name either) and yet there were only 16 babies given her name in 2016.

In the last few years I have known babies called Sarah, Lisa, Rebecca, Christopher and Raymond. Nobody seems to be called Lee, Ian or Tim anymore and we had loads at school!

Keith is a good one. I did surprisingly know a toddler called Keith who'd be around 13 now, but definitely never seen it recommended on MN!

I know a baby Claire, born last year! Was a bit surprised when I heard it (I know plenty of Claire's my own age (30s) but no other younger ones.
