I don't think I've ever seen Nicola mentioned. There were lots in my generation. Maybe it will be back in 5-10 years when we start to become grannies.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
FizzyGreenWater · 04/01/2018 19:58

Nicola reminds me of Nicotine. I think it's horrid!!

PanannyPanoo · 04/01/2018 19:57

lots of Nathan, Lee Timothy and Peter
Sarah, Joanne, Louise and Rebecca when I was at school.
I work with children and know one Rebecca under 15.

John and Claire have been mentioned recently.

If DS had been a girl, Rachel was our top choice. My friend has a 2yo niece Anna. I've met a baby John recently.

All my Alan's are in their 60s and 70s (not so bonny).

DD middle name is Nicola, after my mum. Your probably right, she's a young Nanny but in 10-15 years I think it will be more popular again

leccybill · 04/01/2018 19:30

Nothing wrong with Nicola!

I hear of plenty of young Nicoles though.

FizzyGreenWater · 04/01/2018 19:07

And Steve!

No more Steves.

FizzyGreenWater · 04/01/2018 19:07

Yes Nicola is one of the ultimate once-everywhere now GONE names. I don't think it will ever come back - it's not nice at all.
