I’m not pregnant. I’m just thinking about baby names / wondering what we’d call a 3rd child. Thanks.

Go fre-dree-ka / fre - de - ree - ka (depends on the person)

let’s hope that won’t happen... :( Freddie is an adorable nn imo.

Careful with Frederica. Assuming it's pronounced Fred - ah - reek - ah. Game of Thrones will continue to be popular for a good long while. Kids could and probably would shorten it to "Reek".

sugar I know, you said Mathis (which is fab, btw) but I honestly love the name Matthias (it was on our list for DD1 but I somehow forgot about it....) Thanks 😊

Ivo is lovely.

Amabel is really interesting. I really like the ‘Am’ part (but I’m not to sure about the rest of the name, tbh 😅). Alice is adorable, thanks :)

Helena and Leona are lovely but we unfortunately couldn’t use them.

Veronica and Henrietta are fab, thanks :)

love we couldn’t pull off a name like Ophelia (imo) We’re a bit too boring for that. Cecilia is lovely and it is a family name. But Clarissa and Cecilia might be a bit too matchy... :(

What name would you suggest for a boy? I really like David.

OP posts:
DramaAlpaca · 19/12/2017 16:43

Henrietta goes with Clarissa & Frederica quite nicely.

Proper posh names.

Cecilia is lovely.

horatioisabrick · 19/12/2017 15:53

Love I might actually do that, thanks :)
"far too normal." Oops Blush (We're currently not even thinking about having a 3rd child. This is just a bit of fun, btw.)

wish I love Cecilia but the meaning is a bit too... bleak.

LoveInTokyo · 19/12/2017 15:38

Well download the first of the Rutshire chronicles on your kindle or get down the Oxfam bookshop immediately, OP. You are missing a treat!

Anna, Louisa and David are all fine names but far too normal.

Clarissa and Frederica are more in Arabella/Octavia/Cressida/Petronella territory if you ask me.

Navegante · 19/12/2017 15:27

Octave, Araminta, Petra
