Name Zayne Reckstatt funny?

We like the name Zayne a lot. Our surname is Reckstatt.
Does it sound funny ? .. Zayne like sane...Sane Reck..?
Another name we like is Blake .
Do you her the word “crack” if you say Blake Reckstatt?
Help????!!!!

I think Zane is a bit too Zany. Zayn is a muslim name.
If you already have a name lined up for DS2 but not one for DS1, aren't you jumping the gun a bit?

I’d spell it Zane. Ethan Reckstatt sounds better though.

With the greatest of respect Lara, your posts are all very garbled. It feels like you’re going out of your way to find a ‘cool’ name but if you’re not careful it’s going to end up...umm...giving a different impression.
I don’t understand why you are manically searching for a name for DS1 when you have already outlined a name for DS2?? Why not just use that? I hope you find what you’re looking for. Friendly tip, change your name if you decide to post again or people are going to stop taking you seriously.

I wouldn't assume that a Xavier was a catholic, but I would reject it because of the possibility of the pronunciation being a bit undecided. Also, Xander is quite popular now so it might be a bit trendy.

I'd spell it Zayn. Xavier is nice but you will hear it pronounces Ex-avier, Zavier and Zavvier.
How about Xerxes?

I’d be somewhat surprised if someone with very strong ‘anti-Christian’ or ‘anti-Catholic’ views used that name. But I wouldn’t assume that the parents were Catholic, Christian or even religious.

(It is however more of a Catholic than e.g. an Evangelical name, I guess.)

We like Ethan as well .... but maybe Ethan is to “normal” for us ... 🤔

Thank you!!! Do you think of Xavier as a very religious name? I now it’s origin is religious ...but how is it perceived? Do you think of it immediately as “ a catholic name”

Really dislike Blake, it’s not in the same league as Zayne or Xavier imo! Why not use Xavier this time around?

Does Blake go with Sibling Xavier ????
( Xavier would be maybe for our next son if we get one more son)
