Finally feeling brave enough to post in this section, I know opinions can be brutal here Grin

DS2 is due in 9 weeks and we're debating between Axel and Kasper.

Our family is half Norwegian and our eldest two have Norwegian names.

Which do you prefer?

Axl / Axel is honestly a name I would expect with a sibling called Jaxon and both kids with shaved heads and loud-mouthed parents. Sad

Thank you all! I do prefer the Axl spelling over Axel.

Kasper. Nice name.

SumAndSubstance · 17/12/2017 11:43

Only if your surname is Rose

And you have to spell it Axl, like Axl Rose, or you end up with too many 'e's.

DearMrDilkington · 17/12/2017 11:32

Axel

CatInTheChristmasTree · 17/12/2017 11:32

Kasper but I love both

TatianaLarina · 17/12/2017 11:28

Also Kas is a nice nn but Ax is aggressive.

TatianaLarina · 17/12/2017 11:27

Kasper. Axel’s awful (sorry).

Dozer · 17/12/2017 09:34

Dislike both but of the two much prefer Kasper

EllaHen · 17/12/2017 09:32

Axel. Love it.

Kasper reminds me of the ghost. I like how it sounds so it would probably grow on me.

I never knew about the oral sex thing! Definitely puts a new spin on it BlushGrin

Kasper

CPtart · 17/12/2017 08:49

Kasper even!

CPtart · 17/12/2017 08:49

Jasper. Axel sounds like part of a car.

EvaBlu · 17/12/2017 08:46

Kasper

Axel reminds me of Guns n Roses and Axel Rose whose name was famously an anagram for oral sex.

Axel also sounds like a piece of machinery. Like the axel of your car.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 17/12/2017 08:43

I too like Jasper, but in this case, Axel.

Ropsleybunny · 17/12/2017 08:27

Kasper

Intercom · 17/12/2017 08:25

I meant Kasper!

Autocorrect 🙄

Intercom · 17/12/2017 08:25

Jasper

TaggieRR · 17/12/2017 08:05

Kasper.

ProseccoMamam · 17/12/2017 08:03

I feel like Casper the friendly ghost would go through his teenage rebellion emo phase and rebrand as kasper

Plus it autocorrects to jasper....

ProseccoMamam · 17/12/2017 08:01

Axel

ChocolateCrunch · 17/12/2017 07:51

Kasper, but I do like Axel too!

Xanadu46 · 17/12/2017 07:45

Kasper
