Sebastian.

Prefer Louis to Lewis and Gregory to Gregor.

pipilangstrumpf · 15/12/2017 15:41

Shame that Sebastian's nicknames aren't nice... Seb sounds like sebaceous and Basty like bastard. Nor do they sound manly...

WaxOnFeckOff · 15/12/2017 10:30

Gregor by a country mile. :)

Lewis is nice but I know far too many

Sebastian is a bit whiny for me and not great with a lisp.

Alternatives:

Keir
Cormac
Struan
Fraser

Wishfulmakeupping · 15/12/2017 10:15

Sorry that was!

Wishfulmakeupping · 15/12/2017 10:15

If Gregory then that's my favourite I like Sebastian but very popular don't like Lewis doery

thirstbum · 15/12/2017 10:13

My favourite ever boys name is Sebastian but the nickname Seb makes me barf (no idea why) so I couldn’t choose it. But if that doesn’t bother you go for it.

greendale17 · 15/12/2017 09:46

Sebastian

GlennRheeismyfavourite · 15/12/2017 09:45

Strongly dislike Lewis (it's a wet name in my view) the only Gregor I've come across was Gregor strasser (a nazi) but I really really like Sebastian- great name!

MikeUniformMike · 15/12/2017 09:42
  • Matthew won't date, is always popular, Matt is nice too
  • Joshua - still popular but it's a bit of a baby name not a man's name. Not keen on Josh.
  • Fergus - Ok
  • Guy - I really like it. Simple, not too cute, won't get shortened or lengthened.
  • Roman - Ok but makes me think of Roman Polanski.
  • Nathan - I know a lovely Nathan but otherwise think it's a naughty boy's name. Don't like Nat, Nate or Nathe. - Nathaniel
  • Gregory - OK but I don't know anyone nice with the name.
  • Angus - I really like it. Might get shortened to Gus.
  • Hamish - I really like it.

I would choose Guy, Angus or Hamish. Safe choice would be Matthew.

pipilangstrumpf · 15/12/2017 08:51

Angus is lovely too!

pipilangstrumpf · 15/12/2017 08:50

Sorry, like (silly autocorrect!)

pipilangstrumpf · 15/12/2017 08:49

Gregor is lovely!

I don't love me Sebastian but really dislike Seb or Basty!

CaptainChristmas · 15/12/2017 08:21

I like Lewis

I prefer Gregory

I don't like Sebastian - it's a bit 'posh'

MikeUniformMike · 14/12/2017 19:50

Sebastian would be Seb or Basty.

overmydeadbody · 14/12/2017 19:43

To me, Lewis is a 'naughty boy' name. For some reason every Lewis I ever taught in ten years was challenging or difficult in e way, but it could just be this area (SE)

Sebastian is my favourite, line Hamish too, shame you can't use that!

MikeUniformMike · 14/12/2017 19:39

Hamish is loads better than the other 3 and is very nice. I also like Angus.

MikeUniformMike · 14/12/2017 19:38

Lewis and Sebastian are F1 related.
I don't like Sebastian.
Gregor sounds Scottish. Gregory is better.
Of the 3, Lewis.

PinkAvocado · 14/12/2017 19:38

Is it Scotland where Lewis is very popular. I only know 1 adult one (very south of England).

Humv · 14/12/2017 19:37

Definitely Sebastian, agree with PPs, would sound lovely for a little boy or as an adult

Patal · 14/12/2017 19:35

Sebastian by a mile

Lewis is very popular which puts me off and Gregor is just very bleurgh

Ropsleybunny · 14/12/2017 19:34

Sebastian

RedBlackberries · 14/12/2017 19:34

I like Lewis.
Sebastian sounds very posh and Gregor would be clunky on a little child.

CaptainChristmas · 14/12/2017 19:32

@pink
