Does it make you think immediately of Peppa Pig or doesn't it matter? Asking for a friend!

We had a pet called pepper but the people who named him that also beat him so we changed it. Tbh I'd have probably changed it anyway.

Pepper and the next one salt then vinegar for number 3 lol

When I see Pepper - I think Iron Man.
When I see Peppa - I think pig.

I know someone who has a cat called Peppa.

Immediately think of (in this order)

  • Peppa Pig (and our cat that DD named after her)
  • Mitch and Cams hilariously awful friend played by Nathan Lane in Modern Family
  • The character from American Horror Story

None of these are associations I would want someone to make when meeting my newborn baby.

I know a dog called Pepper and a Dr Pepper. A little girl called Pepper?
You might as well call her Peppa.

Floralnomad · 08/12/2017 18:28

If it’s a miniature schnauzer or a grey horse then very nice , for a child it is not .

SparkleFizz · 08/12/2017 18:28

It’s a lovely name for a pet

Frozengeranium · 08/12/2017 18:27

Actually it's for a pet, but friend said it would make a nice name for a child too so thought I would ask MN!

Iron Man in this house. Not good, just like Coriander in the Archers.

princesseggo · 08/12/2017 18:22

It makes me think of the American Horror Story character

Pepper
