Unusual names

Hi all,

I am due to get married in 6 months and we are planning to try for a baby in 3 months time and announce the news at our wedding Smile
I'm so excited for this new chapter of our lives and my DF and I would like to start thinking about names.
Boys and girls, we love unusual names but I also really love old traditional names. I also love unisex names. Open to all at the moment!
Could you all give us a hand? Any people that you have met throughout your lives with unusual names?

Here is a good place to get opinions on your choices. If you want to avoid names that are looked down on and may hinder you child, people here will tell you. Of course, no one agrees on everything. We went for a name that is instantly recognisable buy rarely used i.e. not 'out there'. Most people I speak to have known one person with this name at one point in their life but it is unlikely that there will be another one wth the same name in their class.
