Olaf

I knew a lovely Austrian man called Olaf, never connected him with the snow Olaf.

ByThePowerOfRa · 02/12/2017 21:07

Bruno or Emil

Agustarella · 02/12/2017 17:03

I can't choose between Aleksander and Emil! Your other names are fine too.

Emil Aleksander?

I may need to have another boy so he can be called Emil(e).

FizzyGreenWater · 02/12/2017 16:03

Bruno

starkid · 01/12/2017 15:17

From that list, Bruno

Jojopugh · 01/12/2017 08:56

Aleksander is lovely.

PeasAndHarmony · 01/12/2017 07:01

Emil

sonlypuppyfat · 01/12/2017 06:47

Emil

Whythesnoring · 01/12/2017 06:44

I loooooooooove Bruno!! I badly want to use it myself , but we have a Hugo !

buttercup54321 · 30/11/2017 21:23

Alexander

SnowyPolarBear · 30/11/2017 20:41

Bruno

MerryMarigold · 30/11/2017 19:33

Count Olaf in Lemony Snicket is thin and evil but I think my fat and jolly association is from Frozen or Nordic associations/ Father Xmas etc.

Ttbb · 30/11/2017 19:33

Olaf makes me think if lemony snicket. Bruno is a dog name in my eyes. Izzak and Aleksander-is the spelling cultural or sonething? Emil is fine if somewhat effeminate. Emil is my favourite.

MerryMarigold · 30/11/2017 19:31

Don't do Olaf. I just think it sounds like someone fat, middle aged and jolly! Aleksander ok, but will be misspelled constantly. Bruno just too dogish. I like Emil and Izaak best.

SuperBeagle · 30/11/2017 19:30

Emil or Aleksander.

Sasha is a shortening for Aleksander/Aleksandr/Alexander. Definitely not Nicholas.

DiegoMadonna · 30/11/2017 19:05

I really dislike Olaf. It makes me think of the hunchback of Notre Dame

But.... Why??

BikeRunSki · 30/11/2017 18:23

I love Emil.
Not keen on Olaf, it sounds clumsy in English.

I have only ever heard of Sacha as a diminutive of Alexander/Aleksander, never Nicholas!

OnlyTheDepthVaries · 30/11/2017 18:20

Absolutely definitely completely and utterly Bruno!

MegAndSprog · 30/11/2017 18:16

Emil and Izaak

goose1964 · 30/11/2017 18:15

Bruno out of those but would go for Aleksander if was spelt differently as he will spent all his time in the UK correcting the spelling

PinkFlamingo888 · 30/11/2017 18:12

I like Izaak or Bruno. I want to like Olaf because of the snowman but it is a snowman... How about Sven though?

mrsBeverleyGoldberg · 30/11/2017 18:01

Emil. I really dislike Olaf. It makes me think of the hunchback of Notre Dame. Hmm

Cockmagic · 30/11/2017 18:00

Olafs reminds me of frozen.

Bruno of the movie 😂

What nationality are you? I like Alexander

LemonysSnicket · 30/11/2017 18:00

Sasha is a nickname for Nicholas not Aleksander ? Isnt it ?

Olivelor · 30/11/2017 17:57

My choice would be Olaf. Its a really uncommon name and I love it.
