But I don't really like it when girls are given names that are diminutives of boy's names........

It really depends on the surname. You have to think it through. It does sound like ‘Henry ate a’ if you say it fast. I knew a Henrietta Mann once. Not an easy name to live with! I think there are other names out there which are far nicer.

I really like it. I often dislike the diminutives of names, but Hetty and Hennie are both adorable.

I don't like it much. It's got a bit of a "snooty" ring to it for want of a better word.
