I quite like it. I've only known one child called Henrietta and she was known as Harrie. Ettie is a nice shortening too.

Henrietta is beautiful and much more feminine than Harriett which sounds harsh imo.

I think Henrietta is much better than Harriet, which is a name I really don't like. Henrietta does have a bit of a posh vibe to it to my ears. Or you could use Henriette. Juliet/Juliette?

Love this name.

There was a girl in my school with this name (admittedly her nickname was Hen Grin but she liked being called that!) I remember thinking how cool and unique her name was.

Another one who had a chicken called Henrietta. Named after the NCIS:L.A. character Hetty.

It really sounds like a chicken’s name. However, I think I could be basing this on my viewing of Peppa Pig where Granny Pig has chickens and one of them may or may not be named Henrietta.

I really like it, much more so than Harriet or Hilary.

I'm not keen on Etta as a nn though, Hettie or Hattie are much sweeter.

I really like Harriet, but a number of my friends already have little Harriet's .
I like the Etta at the end of th name, and girls name with end in ette too (like Bernadette)
Any suggestions would be most welcome :)

Don't like it, clunky and a bit stodgy and quite a mouthful. Harriet is much nicer.

Henrietta is a lovely name. Hettie, Henry, Hennie, Etta - lots of lovely nicknames as well.

Henriella is, well, not a name.

Its a nice name. It wouldn't raise any eyebrows, there aren't lots of them, people know how to spell it.
I personally prefer Harriet or Marietta but its not my baby.

Don't like it. It was my great grandmother's name. She was apparently a tyrant, so my association with the name has compounded my dislike for it. Grin
