I have a soft spot for Vincent.

Don't like Elton. Always thought it was a made up stage name when I was a kid.

i dislike Elton, i know a lovely one, but it's just not a great name.
I really really really don't understand Vincent- it's clanky but seems to be popular on MN. i really really don't get it
Magnus is ok- angus is better or Fergus.

I like Magnus best, I like Vincent but not keen on Vince or Vinny. Don't like Elton at all.

My son is Magnus James. We call him Magnie as that is the traditional nn for Magnus in this area of Scotland. I think Magnus is a lovely strong name.

I like all three! Especially Vincent and Elton. Kids born now won't really know or care about Elton John. Plus, he's a cool association, no?
