I think Aaah-li-uh is the right one. But there are other variations of pronunciation for this one.So its really your choice of pronunciation if you are looking to name it to your DD.

I've always pronounced it A-Lee-A but got told off by one of my pupils who corrected me to Aah-Lee-aah

Aaliyah is pronounced ah-LEE-ah, with the emphasis on the middle syllable.

The double a does not denote a particularly long first syllable.

Not my child! Had text off a friend who has her daughter 2 week a ago. Only just chosen name. Aaliyah Saffron.

There's a girl at youngest DS nursery, her parents pronounce it 'ah-lay-ah' No idea what would be 'correct' though...
