Yes or no? 👣

I'm thinking something like Tanto Atteso (Tess for short, obviously) would have been good.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

If that name has a special meaning to you then by all means. But if you just heard it or someone may have just suggested it then I'd say no. I'd rather go for Paula :). But it's still your call.

🎶 Pooella d’ville, Pooella D’Ville.... if she doesn’t tear you... no poo ever will! 🎶

Battleax · 21/11/2017 14:10

They're talking about constipation Scottish.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 21/11/2017 13:54

Yes she arrived and was like 2 pounds!

TheScottishPlay · 21/11/2017 13:52

Puella is latin for girl.

MollyHuaCha · 21/11/2017 13:50

She was indeed long overdue. Poella’s Mummy is taking precautions to avoid any more I believe.

MummySparkle · 21/11/2017 09:29

Erm TAAT alert!! Wink

I think Poella is lovely. Are you pronouncing it Poh-lah?

Is the baby here now? Last I heard she was long overdue

drspouse · 21/11/2017 09:25

I'm thinking of Piella in Wallace and Gromit.

MollyHuaCha · 21/11/2017 09:21

Love it.

ArcheryAnnie · 21/11/2017 09:19

Useful names if you have quintuplets:

Poella
Paella
Polenta
Patella
and Pam.

(I quite like Pam, though.)

LambMadras · 21/11/2017 09:04

I clicked on this thinking it was a recipe for paella Wink

PartyRat · 20/11/2017 22:44

Sounds like polenta to me

FizzyGreenWater · 20/11/2017 22:41

Knee jerk reaction is that it sounds too much like patella

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2017 22:35

Isn't the spelling Paella?

DancingOnParsnips · 20/11/2017 09:33

Naught I'd give up if I were you! Let them enjoy the outrage Grin

Please NO to Poella I honestly scrolled down and thought it was a thread for Paella which is why I clicked on it as I like cooking paella. Don't saddle a DC with that awful name.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 20/11/2017 08:06

babyspider look at my post above yours it explains pooella

pasta what pooella is an awful name for literally a shit?!?!

ChequeredPasta · 20/11/2017 07:05

Another one who clicked on thinking this was a Zoella pisstake.
Poella is awful. Awful.
Just....awful.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 20/11/2017 06:58

Without meaning to be rude.

What the fresh hell is Poella.

NaughtToThreeSadOnions · 20/11/2017 05:20

otter it's ironic but it's not about Zoella it's a reference to this
www.mumsnet.com/Talk/_chat/3087112-Why-oh-why-can-t-I-poo?pg=19&order=

We've been awaiting the arrival of young pooella.

OtterInDisgrace · 20/11/2017 03:57

Sorry, parsnips. I thought this was an ironic thread and you were taking the piss out of Zoella. I’m genuinely sorry if you really wanted to call your kid Poella

DancingOnParsnips · 20/11/2017 03:55

That was meant to be Confused
