Posted a while ago about an insta mummy blogger type person calling her baby Gravity. The more I said it, the more I liked it Blush

I've been stalking looking at lots of Instagrams today, and seen a little baby in America called Button. I thought it was maybe a nickname, but no there was a birth announcement for baby Button.
Again, I've said it so much that it's really grown on me probably a good thing I won't be having anymore children

My neighbour has a chlamy, she would think of me as common. I love the name of her ds though, "Testes" - is it Greek?

Button is a cute nick name for your baby/toddler but not a name for life. Call them something not bonkers sensible, and use Button as your cute endearment name for them.

Beware though that when they get to 7, like my DS just has, they will start laying down the law that it’s not ok to call them the cutesy name you’ve enjoyed until now in front of their friends, your friends, or any human being outside your immediate family!

i can already imagine how people will react about the name button much so when baby is already all grown up in school. But again it's just me.

I overheard at soft play the other day that the name they'd chosen in pregnancy didn't stick so they called baby DD 'Minnie' as they'd nicknamed her at birth because she was tiny. It grew on them and they had almost decided that was her name when a family member said it was too 'Disney' . That sparked discussion and they've named her Bambi.

I've always loved Enema for girl. DH hates it.
If we had twin girls, we'd name them Lillet and Gillette.
Viakal for a boy as a nod to DH's Hungarian roots.

Gravity and Button sound like names that Sarah Palin would give her kids.

I've just googled the names of Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol's three children.

Tripp, Sailor and Atlee. The latter two are girls. Of course.

I saw a baby announcement on Reddit a few months ago for a baby boy called Cable. Yes, as in something you plug into the telly.

A make up artist in the US I follow has just had a "Babe". Odd.

I saw this, and couldn't figure out whether the baby's name was actually Ruth or Babe. Because she says the baby is named for her mother (Ruth), and there's Babe Ruth, so I wasn't sure whether she was just alluding to him...
