I knew one once. It was pronounced like the names Elle and Ian said one after the other (like the "alien but starting with an E" description given above).

If you add an A it's Eliana which IMO is much nicer but I'm biased.

Thanks, I would say 'El-lee-an/un' but it seems some would pronounce it El-liun (like lion) which I don't like as much

I don't know the name so when I first saw it I would pronounce it El Ee Ann.
