Used to like it an until an utter dick started working with us called Rafael. Massively put me off.

Movablefeast · 02/11/2017 05:35

Doesn't age badly at all. Michael and Gabriel both are great on grown men. Raf is great on a grown man.

Ttbb · 01/11/2017 20:41

Agesvery poorly. Baby Raffy is adorable but 55 year old Rafael the banker, not so much.

lisara79 · 01/11/2017 20:39

Love it... Raffa for short...

LifeofClimb · 01/11/2017 20:39

Jane the Virgin fan? Grin

mondler · 01/11/2017 20:29

I like it :)

averylongtimeago · 01/11/2017 17:46

I'm sorry but it's either an angel or a ninja turtle in my head.
It is a nice name though, nn Raff or Raffy?

Itsanicehotel · 01/11/2017 17:40

Love it.

euanthesheepiloveyou · 01/11/2017 16:22

Love it. Tried to convince OH that we should call no. 6 Rafael (whilst in labour!) but he was having none of it.

BernardBlacksHangover · 01/11/2017 16:18

Lovely!

TonicAndTonic · 01/11/2017 10:20

Love it, but personally don't like any of the usual abbreviations/nicknames that come from it.

KissesAX · 01/11/2017 10:19

I know a Rafael. His nickname is Raffy it's adorable.

bridgetreilly · 31/10/2017 22:23

Gorgeous. I think I slightly prefer Raphael, but Rafael is also excellent. Rafa is the cutest nickname, imo.

ajb17 · 31/10/2017 22:10

It’s a great name and I love the spelling you’ve specified.

Nateismine · 31/10/2017 22:09

I've got a Rafa. Named after the tennis player! Great name!

Piratesandpants · 31/10/2017 22:06

Lovely name.

Tawdrylocalbrouhaha · 31/10/2017 22:04

Teenage mutant ninja turtle!

Mrsknackered · 31/10/2017 22:03

I love it. DS2 was very nearly Raphael. He's got a similar (ish) name as DP was put off by ninja turtles.

glares at DP
