DD2... sister to Annabel.
I know they are both popular but I guess we like what we like Smile

My dd is Zoe and the only one in her whole primary. There are 2 girls called Ava in her year group alone. (As well as 2 called Eva, and an Evie and an Aoife) I think Zoe is more classic whereas Ava is popular now: like Jean and Joan in the 1940s/ 50s and Karen, Claire and Louise in the 1970s. There have always been Zoes but it has never been a top 5 name.

Zoe! It's strong but feminine
Plenty of Ava's around, too.

AmysTiara · 01/11/2017 13:25

Zoe. There's millions of Ava's round here (north west Eng)

Sophronia · 01/11/2017 13:23

Zoe

CoolCarrie · 31/10/2017 15:55

Ava is becoming a bit commonplace nowadays, Zoe isn't and it's a cute name.

Movablefeast · 31/10/2017 15:53

Bm??? 😁 sorry on phone

Movablefeast · 31/10/2017 15:52

Ava has been done to death there are gazillions of them.

Zoe is sharper and won't pin your dd to her generation.b m.

keepondreaming · 31/10/2017 15:50

Ava.

Lots of Zoe’s around here.

Lostflipflop · 31/10/2017 15:45

My daughter is Ava and I love it. I think I must have been one of the first to choose it as she is almost 11 and we don't know any other Ava's her age. Seems to be a lot under 5 though

DuggeeHugs · 31/10/2017 15:42

Zoë

NikiBabe · 31/10/2017 14:57

Zoe. Lovely name.

Branleuse · 31/10/2017 14:54

Zoe.

Far too many Avas about now. Practically every girl child at the moment seems to be Ava, Lola or Ruby. All cute names I guess, but so overdone.

SequinsOnEverything · 31/10/2017 14:52

Zoe. I know Annabel and Zoe siblings actually Smile

Pemba · 31/10/2017 14:50

Zoe, lovely name, lovely meaning - life. There are so many Avas now.

dottypotter · 31/10/2017 14:11

ava don't like chloe or zoe

Annabelle4 · 30/10/2017 20:17

Ava. Popularity doesn't bother me though

MikeUniformMike · 30/10/2017 20:13

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 30/10/2017 19:11

Annabel and Zoe go well together.

Glumglowworm · 30/10/2017 19:10

Zoe

WallisFrizz · 30/10/2017 17:48

Zoe definitely. Too many little Avas running about at the moment.

mum2be2boys · 30/10/2017 17:35
