Really really struggling to find a girls name that goes with Clementine. I like Sophia, Matilda and Juliet but already used by family, Jemima and Rosa but DP doesn't like. Any suggestions?

I’ve only ever met one Clementine (and she pronounced it ‘tine’ rather than ‘teen’, as you do).

Her sisters were Camilla and Rafaella (unsure of spelling) and her mum was called Maria, and I always thought they made a nice name set. There was never any confusion with Camilla and Clementine sharing an initial, because Camilla was usually called Milly.

I also think the connection is distant enough for you to use Matilda without worrying.

If you like Matilda and Madaline could you go for a Miranda? Unusual nowadays and the couple of Mirandas I know have been super cool .

Clementine and Sue. Sounds lovely and you can get ahead of the curve before sue becomes more popular in the next few years.

Clementine and Theodora.

Oddly, the two Clementines we know both have a sister called Madeleine, so it's not just MNers who think it's a good fit Grin
