Longer unique girls names with nicknames please?

Madison nn. Maddie
Eloise nn. Ellie
Elodie nn. Ellie/ Edie
Harriet nn. Hattie
Amelie nn. ??

Any other suggestions? No set middle name and surname begins with 'H' and has 1 syllable.

They're certainly v. common (in the widely used sense of the word) in the school that I teach in, and at the school my dc go to.

I'd agree about Isabella, though. Dozens everywhere. But it seemed to be the kind of name that stars was thinking of, and it has a couple of nice abbreviations.

I agree with previous poster, Eloise, Amelie and Harriet are far from unusual. I know several of each. The Harriet's go by Hattie or Harry sometimes but none of the Eloise's or Amelie's have nicknames

I think Elodie is a lot more uncommon

I'm related to an Eloise and an Amelie, neither get shortened to a nickname though. Don't think they are very common names as they are the only ones I know. Last primary I worked in had 6 Isabella's though...

matilda really?! I've worked in early years settings for 6 years and never worked with a child with any of these names!

At the risk of being obvious, those names are far from unique. Most primary classes will have at least 3 of them.

Elizabeth - Lizzie, Libby, Beth?
Isabella - Izzie, Bella?
