Puritan style baby names

DD1 has a name heavily associated with Puritan times. Now expecting DC2 so am looking for suggestions of names that have a puritan vibe to them for both boys and girls.

I quite like Delilah, Constance, Tobias and Gideon maybe

I absolutely LOVE Patience. I love these names in general - Unity and Constance are favourites too. I'd be interested to hear boys names that come into this category.

I don't think so, while Prudence might be a bit much, something like Hope or Verity doesn't sound like matchy-virtue-overboard.

Yes already have a Patience. Thinking it's probably best to avoid another obvious virtue name?

I love Verity and Constance. Esther and Amity are also stylish.

Would you use Makepeace? Even as a middle name? Because that sounds so cool.

I love Prudence but it is way to close to DD's name with has a similar sound and also starts with a P
