Hi - slightly ridiculously we have our birth registration booked for this afternoon and are having last minute doubts about our preferred name - Lila. Our preferred pronounciation is Lie-la, but we know there are alternatives Lee-la and slightly less common Lil-la. We may postpone the registration but thought would see what the good people of mumsnet thought before we did ! We could spell it Lyla or Lilah, but we keep on coming back to Lila. Thanks in advance !
