I'm just curious and thought it would be an interesting topic as I know parents don't agree on everything. What would you have named you child/children if your DP didn't have a say in it? Smile

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

He didn't have a say, I picked all 5 of my boys names. If he genuinely didn't like them it was off the list. But otherwise he left it to now.And great names they are 😂😉.Even if I say so myself.

All 6 would be the same! Although he did veto Raphael in the hours before DS6 was born.

MotherofPearl · 12/10/2017 21:51

We agreed on the names of our DDs but I wanted to call DS Julius which DP firmly vetoed as ridiculous (in my defence it is a family name on my side!).

Mulch · 12/10/2017 21:43

Asher, Calvin and cain

ichbineinstasumer · 12/10/2017 21:42

Boris [ok, DS1 had a lucky escape]
Soren
Albert

HashiAsLarry · 12/10/2017 21:40

Ottilie and Sebastian.
Dcs real names are in a similar vein to this so not 100% sure what turned DH away from these.

whiteroseredrose · 12/10/2017 21:39

If DH had had his way we would have had a Genghis as he thinks it goes well with our name. And that was for DD!! Angry

DeadButDelicious · 12/10/2017 21:36

Wednesday.

DramaAlpaca · 12/10/2017 21:29

Same as they are called now. DH agreed with all my suggestions, including the middle names, so naming them was easy.

Sarahh2014 · 12/10/2017 21:29

Rocco but we had Mason I'm glad now tho

OyyVeyy · 12/10/2017 21:26

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 12/10/2017 21:26

Kit

OyyVeyy · 12/10/2017 21:24

Sylvan

Lachlan

Oooh that's really quite interesting given what they are actually called Smile

BrutusMcDogface · 12/10/2017 21:19

Heidi. School bike apparently.
Xanthe. Not sure why.
Still wish I'd been able to use my favourite names for the children that I pushed out of my foof, but hey.

BikeRunSki · 12/10/2017 21:18

Isambard and Isis

SuperBeagle · 12/10/2017 21:18

DS1 would still have been Samuel, as that was my choice.

DS2 would have been Edward

DD1 would have been Matilda.

DD2 would have been Arabella.

ohhelpohnoitsa · 12/10/2017 21:18

Bruno and Dylan

stopbeingadramallama · 12/10/2017 21:17

I still love our sons name but if I got my own way it would have been Austin.

GreyFluffball · 12/10/2017 21:16

Roscoe. DH said it's a dogs name.

HMC2000 · 12/10/2017 21:15

Lydia. DH had had a massive crush on a Lydia at 15, so vetoed it. I loved that name.

MamaOfTwos · 12/10/2017 21:00

I want Freddie if current pregnancy is a boy, but we've agreed on Henry

missyB1 · 12/10/2017 20:57

I got my own way Grin
