Is it too popular at the moment?

I love it and it's my top name if we finally get a BFP and it's a boy.

FindTheLightSwitchDarren · 12/10/2017 19:16

I like it.

I don't know any, but do know an Elias and have met two little Elis at the park.

NikiBabe · 12/10/2017 17:11

Too biblical.

How about Elias ? It is the Greek version of Elijah afaik.

PandorasXbox · 12/10/2017 17:02

Love it.

Ahh mixed response so far.. We haven't got our heart set on it but it's a name we do both like.

It's on a pretty big upswing, as a lot of biblical names are (Noah, Isaac, Ezra, Jacob, etc.)

They are nice names though. I love Elijah.

Sophronia · 12/10/2017 15:31

I quite like it. I’ve heard Eli a lot recently, but not Elijah. Although I suppose the Elis could have Elijah as their full name.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 12/10/2017 15:11

It's everywhere at the moment, it will be the new Jack or Alfie once they get to school. I also don't like it in full or Eli as a nickname. So it's a no from me but then it's not my baby.

BabloHoney · 12/10/2017 15:06

Really like it, Eli for short!

HeteronormativeHaybales · 12/10/2017 14:14

Like it a lot. I don't think it's that popular. No. 47 in England in 2016, according to the ONS. So moderately popular but not overwhelmingly so.

Iamagreyhoundhearmeroar · 12/10/2017 14:07

It’s everywhere.

ChocolateCrunch · 12/10/2017 14:03

I like it and nn Eli. I don't know any Elijahs.
