Yy to Georgia one my favourite names.

Bucketsandspoons · 14/10/2017 20:45

What a really lovely pair to choose between!

I know a very lovely little Hope and Georgia was high on my own names list, I think Georgia would win for me by a hairsbreadth. Although I love the pp's suggestion of Georgia Hope.

n0ne · 14/10/2017 20:38

I prefer Hope to Georgia, but Georgina to both

TwoKidsAndCounting · 14/10/2017 19:59

Georgia

Montacute · 14/10/2017 19:58

Georgia. Hope sounds so weedy.

Lottieskeeper · 14/10/2017 19:56

Georgia definitely.

Have already decided on it for a future daughter; husband needs to be convinced there will be more children!

Limelightnot · 14/10/2017 19:50

Love Georgia

KoalaD · 13/10/2017 08:15

Hope.

Georgia is boring.

MikeUniformMike · 12/10/2017 20:50

I like both but prefer Georgia, but I prefer Georgina to Georgia. I like Gina but love Georgie as a pet name.
Of course, Georgia shortened to Georgie is great too. The only thing that puts me off Georgia is the godawful Jorja spelling.

Ionarocks · 12/10/2017 20:41

Definitely Hope.

sauvignonismydrug · 12/10/2017 19:50

Hope. My daughter is a Hope and one of the reasons I chose it was because of the meaning but also because it’s not a very common name. I’ve been teaching for 17 years now and never come across a Hope.

daisypond · 12/10/2017 19:31

Hope. I know a few Georgias, all about 19 or 20 years old now. It's OK as a name but a bit boring. I really just think of the US state and find it hard to think of why you'd name your child after it. I think Georgina is better.

FindTheLightSwitchDarren · 12/10/2017 19:17

Hope

CakeRattleandRoll · 12/10/2017 13:51

Hope

DramaAlpaca · 11/10/2017 22:19

I much prefer Hope.

bridgetreilly · 11/10/2017 16:41

Georgia Hope.

Hufflepuff719 · 11/10/2017 16:31

Hope, lovely and extremely underused.

Georgia has had its day IMO. Was very popular 15-20 years ago.

Wishfulmakeupping · 11/10/2017 16:30

Adore the name Georgia classic and elegant plus George or Georgie as new for a little girl is very sweet

DonkeysDontRideBicycles · 11/10/2017 10:28

The only young Hope I know is referred to by many as Hopeless. How horrible!

Threeandabit · 11/10/2017 09:16

Georgia

Georgina is a nice alternative too, which I slightly prefer over Georgia.

millifiori · 11/10/2017 08:16

Georgia Hope is a gorgeous name. Georgia was high up on our list for girls but we had boys.

ChocolateCrunch · 11/10/2017 08:09

Georgia. I know a Hope, aged 7, who's called Hopeless too, Crumbs1

Esker · 11/10/2017 08:08

I love Hope! I recently leaned that I had a great great uncle named Hope, who sadly was killed in WW1. I had never heard of it being used for a boy.

Both Georgia and Hope are beautiful names OP Smile

Ropsleybunny · 11/10/2017 08:05

Hope but only just, both are lovely.

17caterpillars1mouse · 11/10/2017 08:00

Georgia
