Willow. Beautiful name IMO. I get the association with thinness but my first thought is of a beautiful tree growing by running water.

I have a teen Willow ( I like to think I started a trend 😂) .. I still love it and people still comment on how pretty it is . She is very willowy though which is handy . Zoe is meh to me .. each to their own though .

Zoe is lovely - I'd use it if it hadn't been used in my family already.

Tbh all the Willows that I know are cats!

Zoë. Absolutely lovely. Have never been keen on Willow, and it’s more ‘now’. I think it will date more than Zoë. (For instance, I know a Zoë in her 40s, one in her 20s, and one who will be 2 in November. I know a much larger number of Willows, but they are all under 8).

Both lovely, I agree Zoe is more timeless and would suit a wider range of people, so I vote that. Willow is beautiful though.

I think Zoe / Zoë would pigeonhole the child a lot less.

I have a Zoe and think it's a great name. Still fairly unusual but not weird, everyone can spell it. Willow is lovely but a hostage to fortune if she turns out not terribly ethereal (my Zoe is definitely not a Willow)

Zoe for me. Willow is, as pp have said, very now and also a lot of pressure if she turns out not to be skinny!
