Abel and Monty are my favourites; third would probably be Bram.

They're very try hard names . The only ones I genuinely like are Percy and Monty . Joby is dreadful but Toby is ok.

I know a Joby! To me it's obvious it would rhyme with Toby Confused
Would have presumed most people would realise it wouldn't rhyme with 'hobby' because it doesn't have a double 'b'. But clearly not...

Anyway Joby is a charming, handsome, bright and sensitive boy and I've always loved his name so I'd choose that one! I also like Bram.

Abraham means you can call him Abe/ Bram, but if he is in trouble, you get to yell "ABRAHAM MIDDLENAME PTOLSSON" up the stairs for extra effect.

I like the idea of using Abraham so he has the option of Abe or Bram as nicknames.

Surname is relatively generic so most names go ok with it.

I am in my mid 30s dubious. I do remember Garfield but know an adult Garfield and have always loved the name!

Are you in your early 20's op? I'm in my late thirties and, like pp think of Garfield as an 80's cartoon cat and I'm sorry but I hear Enoch and think Powell, rivers of blood.

Still, I'd make that Abraham or Arthur if I wanted a Bram or Art. Kids sometimes outgrow a pet name and it is nice to be able to go back to the full version.
