Help me decide! In hospital...

So I'm laying on the induction ward for the third day in a row, hoping that today will be the day that DD2 arrives! DD1 is Alice Robyn and we're still struggling to decide on a name for this little one. She will be taken straight to nicu due to health problems so we want to name her as soon as she's born.
Please help me!

Our favorites are..

Clara Willow - though we have some hesitance that the inlaw's suffolk accent might turn this into Clarrrrrrr!

Rose Amelie - but our double barreled surname starts with T-W, would she get RAT initials?!

Rose Matilda - though OH doesn't love this as much as Rose Amelie

Any other ideas or opinions? Feel like we're overthinking our choices as we pace the corridors!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
OyyVeyy · 04/10/2017 11:52

Just read your last post OP - I very much doubt that anyone else apart from you would care / notice your kids initials.

OyyVeyy · 04/10/2017 11:51

I think Amelie Rose sounds better.

bridgetreilly · 04/10/2017 11:46

Clara Willow is lovely. Hope all goes well today!

To those who suggested Amelie Rose, she would have identical initials to her older sister, which I think is a bit much.

hawkmcqueen · 04/10/2017 10:31

Alice and Clara go very nicely together, love both names. The only immediate choice you have to make is if she is a Clara or a Rose when she is born really.

Alice and Rose are also very pretty and as another poster said, Alice and Rosa would be gorgeous. Jeez I was actually no help there at all!!!

Threeandabit · 04/10/2017 10:20

Matilda Rose?
Carrie Willow?

Good luck, op Flowers

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/10/2017 10:11

I've always liked Tessa Wren.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/10/2017 10:10

Sorry OP, meant to say, hope all goes well, and your little one arrives soon. 🌺

FizzyGreenWater · 04/10/2017 10:09

Rose is a bit of a default middle name but Rosa lovely as a first name. Or Rosalind.

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 04/10/2017 10:07

❤️ Clara Willow.

Yika · 04/10/2017 09:16

I like Clara Willow and wish you and your baby all the best. Hope all goes well.

I like Clara Willow and wish you and your baby all the best. Hope all goes well.

PotteringAlong · 04/10/2017 08:14

I was going to say Matilda Rose as I read the op and then saw lots of people had beaten me to it!

Hope today goes well Flowers

Ilovewillow · 04/10/2017 08:12

Clara Willow but I may be a little biased! Hope you get some long awaited good news today - good luck!

Trailedanderror · 04/10/2017 08:08

Lovely names. How today goes well NameyFlowers

NorthernLurker · 04/10/2017 08:07

What about Rose Emilie? Avoids the initial issue. Good luck!

miniloco · 04/10/2017 08:06

Another vote for Matilda Rose. Clara is a beautiful name too. Good luck today!

Seti · 04/10/2017 07:58

Rosa Clara

PersisFord · 04/10/2017 07:46

Clara Grace
Grace Matilda
Martha Clare
Genevieve Clare
Edith Rose

Good luck!

Ceto · 04/10/2017 07:37

Amelie Rose. ART is a bit more acceptable by way of initials, and you can still call her Rose.

WowserBowser · 04/10/2017 07:36

I like all your girl's names. Alice Robyn is a lovely name.

Rose seems a bit boring as it is overused as a middle name. And Amelie mixes in with all the Amelias etc for me.

I would go with Clara Willow.

I like Clara Wren but it may seem too much like a bird theme with your Daughter's name!

ChocolateCrunch · 04/10/2017 07:35

Martha
Edith
Jemima
Poppy

I like Clara from your list. Or how about Roseanna?

Good luck, hope little one arrives soon! x

HeteronormativeHaybales · 04/10/2017 07:34

If you end up set on Rose as a first name, how about Rosa? Gives it a bit more substance.

HeteronormativeHaybales · 04/10/2017 07:33

Good luck! Hope all goes well and she arrives in good shape.

I'd go with Clara Matilda. There are too many Amelies and Roses about, and to me Willow is a cat's name (sorry!). Clara is starting a 'moment', I think, but you're still ahead of the trend.

VinIsGroot · 04/10/2017 06:56

Clara Willow is beautiful....ha ha in the Suffolk accent ....DH is from Suffolk and I'm from Liverpool..we struggled with names!
Congratulations

17caterpillars1mouse · 04/10/2017 06:47

Rose Amelie your surname is T-W so RAT wouldnt be that obvious and even if it was im not convinced it's an issue.

Rose is gorgeous as A first name

Good luck
