I don't like either of them. Hester reminds me of Fester and Hesper just sounds like the first one pronounced incorrectly.

Esther is nice though

PhuntSox · 29/09/2017 17:10

Or Esther?

PhuntSox · 29/09/2017 17:09

What about Hephzibah?

Hester. Hesper is an anagram of Herpes. Normally anagrams aren't a problem but that one would be a bit too close for comfort.

Hesper will probably sound like you are trying to say Hester.

Sophronia · 29/09/2017 16:54

Hester

Chaffinch4 · 29/09/2017 16:41

Hesper always sounds a bit lispy to me.

Fridgedooropen · 29/09/2017 16:27

Do you mean Vesper? Never heard of Hesper.

Loyly · 29/09/2017 16:15
