And any middle name suggestions.

Marnie May? Too much?

It reminds of that young lady from Geordie Shore.

UsernameInvalid66 · 09/10/2017 16:33

Love a PP's suggestion of using it as a short form of Marianne.

In "When Marnie was there" (very good book by the way!) it is short for Marianna. I've met someone who had it as a full name though - at least that's the name she gave when she knocked off our wing mirror!

Roxx1516 · 30/09/2017 14:48

Or Marnie-grace :)

Roxx1516 · 30/09/2017 14:46

Marnie- Ray is lovely ❤️

Acidophilus · 30/09/2017 07:33

I actually know twins called Marnie and Barney. Makes me snort every time.

CircleofWillis · 30/09/2017 07:27

Marnie is lovely. It reminds me of the children's book "When Marnie was There". I don't like it with 'May'.

Bubblesoup · 30/09/2017 06:14

Marnie Beth
Marnie Sarah
Marnie Kate

It's quite sweet. I've never heard of it before. It feels like it needs a full name too?

FluffyMcCloud · 29/09/2017 15:46

Love Marnie but not Marnie May.

AfterSchoolWorry · 29/09/2017 15:43

Reminds me of mardy or moany.

Lemondrop99 · 29/09/2017 15:41

Marnie is nice enough, but definitely not with May. It makes it sound like a twee character out of a children's tv show

GreenGoblin0 · 28/09/2017 21:35

Marnie Rose is lovely

igotyoubabe · 28/09/2017 21:31

Doesn't sound particularly pretty to me.. and is similar on the ear to Mardy which is a common phrase in my part if the country!

Horseshoe1 · 28/09/2017 19:50

*one, not oj

Horseshoe1 · 28/09/2017 19:50

Love Marnie. Go classic in the middle?

Marnie Olivia
Marnie Catherine
Marnie Sophia
Marnie Elizabeth

Or for oj syllable, Marnie Grace?

Sugarpiehoneyeye · 28/09/2017 19:48

Marnie Kate
Marnie Jo
Marnie Ella

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 28/09/2017 19:48

Really love Marnie.

Makes it a bit comical with the May as well.

pilates · 28/09/2017 19:46

Marnie is ok but not Marnie May.

Sallywiththegoodhurrr · 28/09/2017 17:52

Love Marnie. It's on our list if we have a girl this time Smile

Marnie May is a bit over kill though

Wasp86 · 28/09/2017 17:47

I once heard an accent where "money" was pronounced with the "arn" sound in the center. Never really fancied Marnie after that.

daisypond · 28/09/2017 11:21

I don't like Marnie as a standalone name, and definitely not with May alongside it. As a short form for Marina or Marianne or Margaret, etc, it's fine.

weebarra · 28/09/2017 11:18

I love Marnie. I've only ever met one and she was lovely.

PersisFord · 28/09/2017 11:15

It's very pretty. I know one and she is gorgeous.

Marnie Grace
Marnie Elizabeth
Marnie Jennifer
Marnie Alexis

I would go for something classic for the middle name, to avoid the Deep South vibe.

coragreta · 28/09/2017 11:11

She would be called Mardy Marnie if you live in Yorkshire.

ladybirdsaredotty · 28/09/2017 10:24

I like it, but not with May. Love a PP's suggestion of using it as a short form of Marianne. I adore that name.

saritah · 28/09/2017 08:21

Not a fan of Marnie personally, I think it's very "of the moment" and it sounds a bit whingy (mardy).
