If I'd had a daughter Lysette was a strong contender as was Antigone (Tiggy)...my DP was glad we had a boy 😂

I've always loved Calypso. It's the first name on here that's made me go 'yes! I'd use that'. Lots of other pretty names but Calypso makes my heart do a little dance.

Shizzle, be afraid...be very afraid...a certain actress, surname Mirren, is on her way over to yours and is not best pleased. Grin

Mine and both my sisters' names are here - good job mum! and my DD's, several times.

Babbitywabbit · 27/09/2017 22:50

...posted too soon; Ramona is pretty but doesn't go far back enough in history to feel like it has enough depth to it

Babbitywabbit · 27/09/2017 22:47

To me the most beautiful are names which not only sound nice but have beautiful meanings too.
Elizabeth, Lydia, Jessica, Sarah.

I like the sound of some names but could never use them because the meaning is negative- e.g. Rebecca, which sound gorgeous but means 'a noose.'

I also think Ramona is a very pretty sounding name

MumOfTwoMasterOfNone · 27/09/2017 22:17

I love Sophia and Amelia but they are just too too common so I couldn't bring myself to use them.

Ballyhoobird · 27/09/2017 22:04

most beautiful
Genevieve
Ammelie
Leonie
Madeleine
Gabrielle

Persephone

None of which we called our two daughters cos we're not french and the last one is a goat

Others I love
Arrabella (shortened to Bella) - the name I may have used somewhat to "prepare" dh for dd2's name (slightly reluctant about dd's name, really didn't like this one. I loved it. Loved dd2's name more though 😀)

Bryony
Rhiannon
Charlotte

Butterflies27 · 27/09/2017 21:57

I love this name, so over used now though

SuzukiLi · 27/09/2017 21:50

My daughters first and one of her middle names are already on here but not her third name which I love.
