It really depends who is saying the name! Clara, for example, in a French accent is off the chart beautiful. In an East Midlands twang, not so much.

I don't think my daughters have names that I truly adore. That sounds awful but dp vetoed the names I loved. I do like their names of course, but I have name regret.

I fell in love with this name when I was 17 and it was always going to be my future daughter's name.
My mother vetoed it because "She'll get told she's a good/lousy lay!"
