Hugo!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
vichill · 23/09/2017 22:27

Parents are a tad affected.

BikeRunSki · 23/09/2017 22:23

Posh, privileged, self important, arrogant

Ttbb · 23/09/2017 22:21

Wonderful. Makes me think of victor hugo, was on our shortlist both times. Very nice, nuetral name.

Sandsnake · 23/09/2017 22:16

Quite posh, frequently bewildered but kind. Probably has dark hair.

I think it is a very nice name, OP.

timeisnotaline · 23/09/2017 22:13

It's a perfectly nice name . I do find all these connotations putting me off now.

HeteronormativeHaybales · 23/09/2017 22:11

 bit in the Fox/Oscar/Arlo mould - upper-middle-class try-hard.

2cats2many · 23/09/2017 22:05

Like fog; wet and thick.

ifcatscouldtalk · 23/09/2017 22:04

I've never met a Hugo. First thoughts, posh with lots of propertiesGrin.

MazDazzle · 23/09/2017 21:57

My fav. boys' name. Sadly it doesn't go with our surname. We are far from posh! It's definitely making a comeback.

dantdmistedious · 23/09/2017 21:51

If mine had been boys one would have been Hugo. Love it.

TableMirror · 23/09/2017 21:45

Every Hugo I know is perfectly normal, it was on my list!

womanbehavingbadly · 23/09/2017 21:43

I can’t read it without imagining it being read in an overly posh, mocking tone.

Mulch · 23/09/2017 21:34

Wonderful name for a Frenchie or pug

Sophronia · 23/09/2017 21:27

Posh, chinless

Pixilicious · 23/09/2017 21:26

Parents are tossers unless they are landed gentry

CharlieandLolaCat · 23/09/2017 21:24

I can’t say it without sounding really posh - same with Hugh and therefore would avoid at all costs.

Consideringbeingamom · 23/09/2017 21:24

From the Greek derivative Huge Ego??

LinoleumBlownapart · 23/09/2017 21:22

The only Hugo I know is short, funny, rides a motorbike, covered in tattoos, built like a brick shit house and my daughter's maths teacher.

BeingATwatItsABingThing · 23/09/2017 21:22

Vicar of Dibley

LucieLucie · 23/09/2017 21:21

Pompous and indulged is what immediately comes to my mind

BettyOBarley · 23/09/2017 21:20

A "Made in Chelsea" type!

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 23/09/2017 21:19

Bit posh, bit stupid - as in Hugo Horton. Or, as the vicar described him - Cactus Man.

Sodaface · 23/09/2017 21:10

Fat farmer who tells jokes on the radio.... it's true.

Anyway I think it's a lovely name especially if your aiming for MC associations.

Gummygoddess · 23/09/2017 21:05

Cute baby from baby classes who resembles my child. Not sure if it suits him but he is adorable.

Winteriscomingneedmorewood · 23/09/2017 21:00
