Both are great. Slightly prefer Violet though.

Violet is better than Ivy - but I don't like either, I'm afraid.

I know four Ivys (Ivies?) from my daughter's nursery/swim class alone but my be biased because my DH nixed Violet (I loved it and it was one of my top three names, but every time we discussed it via WhatsApp / email he typoed it as 'Violent').

So Violet Violet Violet for me, although Ivy is lovely too. Just seemingly more popular!

Don't really like either, but Violet is better. Prefer Viola though.

I love them both and they were both on our list, Violet is harder to pronounce nicely though I thought-and there another name we like even more than Ivy, so we might use it as s middle name.
