Further to my girl list, I’ve made up a list of boys’ names that were used 50 times or fewer in England & Wales last year. Again, not all of them are to my taste, but I thought it might interest some of you.

Quite like some of these. There's a boy in my DS class called Kirk and I really like it. Suits him beautifully

I know an Oren. He's a lovely little boy and his name suits him down to the ground.

Smoliver - I really like Eugene, but might be in the minority there. Balthazar is quite cool too, but I'd only use it for a pet.

I'm surprised at some. I thought Innes, Edmund, Gus and Finnian would be more popular.
I can see why Rhett isn't used more often and is Lazarus a gemstone?

I love Soren. I like Leopold and Ambrose too.

This is just a few of them isn't it? There are surely hundreds more that were used less than 50 times.
