Jadon or Noah?

These are our final 2 he would be Jadon Matthew or Noah Matthew (Matthew is my dad's name) thanks!

Noah Matthew sounds great but Jadon is more unusual.
I don't know where people are finding all the Jaydens and Kaydens. In 73 years of life 40 of which were spent as a teacher I have never met one child or adult with those names. I have known two Noahs.

I don't believe that you didn't have the first clue that Jadon would not go down well on MN OP.

Poor Jadon would have to explain his entire life that ' it's pronounced Jahdon not Jayden and it's a biblical name, so there '

I don't see how you haven't thought this. It's most odd.

I went to Catholic school with lots of bible reading and have never heard of Jadon. That may make me uneducated but the fact is most people won't have heard of it and will associate it as an alternative spelling of Jayden, thus making a chavvy name chavvier. Sorry but you did ask the Internet for opinions! Glad to see you're going with Noah - may be quite common but I think it's lovely.

I'm a Christian and have never heard of Jadon, so I'm more uneducated than the others! And I do read my bible with (relative) frequency.
Noah is a lovely name
As for some of the comments on here that have obviously upset you, can I recommend Ephesians 4:31

OP you seem quite defensive/sensitive about your name choices, so maybe asking for opinions wasn't the best idea! I agree with everyone else about Jadon but if you feel strongly about it then just go with what you want to do.

Noah is my most hated boys name, but I reluctantly prefer it to Jadon.

Yes I did say that but I didn't say that to people who were saying it would be confused with Jayden I wasn't actually. Why would I? I have a slight preference for Noah. DH has a slight preference for Jadon.

Just because someone doesn't know all religious names in the Old Testament it doesn't make them 'uneducated' If I threw a name from the Koran at you and you didn't know it would that still be classed uneducated?
Also, people aren't allowed to class a name as 'chavvy' but you are allowed the class a name as 'pretentious' 🤔 Go figure.
