We're finally down to a reasonable amount of names on our shortlist
We're not looking to add any others to the list

We've got a while to decide yet (due January) so I'm not in any rush to find 'the one' just wanted to see which was people's favourites and if there's any glaringly obvious connections or connotations from these names that I'm missing?

The names are -
April
Emily
Erin
Harriet
Lydia

Definitely Lydia by miles. Erin is Ok, Emily I have a really strong dislike for, it's dull and overused. Harriet is not a nice sounding name to my ears. April is meh

All beautiful names. My order of preference is:
Erin
Emily
Harriet
Lydia
April (but I love the idea of this as a middle name, especially with the family connection)

I love Erin - was on my list for both DCs
Also really like Lydia. My relative is a Lydia - she's a strong woman and very lovely!

April would suit an April baby but I'd bee slightly confused by it otherwise.

I'm not keen on Harriet and Emily.

My 27 year old DD is called Harriet. I still think it is a great name!

I do like Harriet April though ... I just like the idea of April as the middle name in general tbh, DD1 has a month middle name too so I quite like that connection

I like Harriet best because it has the strongest sounds in it.
Also a host of nice nicknames.
Nothing wrong with the others.

Harriet April flows nicely (assuming not a T- surname) and combines a gorgeous first name with an elegant, meaningful middle name.

And I didn't even realise April would be a conception name (would it?) it would be in honour of both of our Grandmothers who's birthdays are both in April
